Does my guest need to download an app?: No, you don’t need an app for Mondostay; you’ll be sent a link that you can open in any browser.
Do I need a smart lock?: No, not at all – you can easily change the code for the smart lock to one for a key box. If you wish, the guest will only be shown the code AFTER they have registered and paid a deposit.
Does it work with Airbnb and Booking.com?: Yes, Mondostay needs to be connected to Hostex to work, so you’ll also need to take out a $7 subscription with them. Together with Hostex, the total monthly cost comes to just under €15.
How much does it cost?: Mondstay Basic is free; the comprehensive premium version costs less than one working hour per month: €9.99 with an annual subscription. This includes a security deposit, identity verification, a pricing calendar, widgets, an AI host, a shop and invoices.
Will my work be saved if I change my subscription?: Yes. Your settings will be saved. Features not included in your subscription will be temporarily unavailable until you switch back.I
In which languages can my guest read the guide?: With the Basic version, in Dutch, French, German and English. With the Premium version, in 29 languages. You can manage everything yourself in four languages: Dutch, French, German and English.
Do I need a subscription to Hostex?: To make use of all the features in the Premium Which version do you have a subscription to? Need $7 on Hostex. You will need to take out this subscription yourself, particularly as you will need to set up the links to the booking platforms yourself. We do not ask for your password or login details for Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.
If you also want to activate guarantees and payments, you will need a free of charge Stripe An account is required.
If you’d like to add the identity check to your guest guide, you’ll need an account with Didit required. That is free of charge and gives you a monthly credit of $10 for checks. With $10, you can carry out around 20 checks each month. That’s usually enough for holiday homes.
